Gregory Thine has dedicated a lifetime to the search for beauty in many forms and disciplines, the common denominator being nothing more than faith in significance, humanity and hope.
The very act of expression, is an act of faith in purpose, so much so that the crisis of meaning that underpins much contemporary artistic discourse is little more than a growth experience in the journey of philosophical and artistic enquiry. It is only natural that existentialism, relativism, nihilism, post-modernism, resound through Art, they are by now bound up in our identity, or lack thereof. And yet a cave painting still tells much more than ever about ourselves.
Artistry is all that matters: it is universal and instinctive, and carries forward the flame of vital human values.

About
Artistry for Life
The many paths to beauty
Gregory Thine has dedicated a lifetime to the search for beauty in many forms and disciplines, the common denominator being nothing more than humanity, truth and hope.

The very act of expression, is an act of faith in purpose, so much so that existentialism, relativism, nihilism, post-modernism are little more than important growth experiences in a journey of philosophical and artistic enquiry. Such notions resound in much contemporary artistic discourse even as societal values, divertissement or novelty for novelty’s sake. And yet a cave painting still tells much more than ever before about ourselves.
Artistry is all that matters: it is universal and instinctive, and carries forward the flame of vital human values.
